The Tanzania Road Freight Association (TRFA)
The Tanzania Road Freight Association (TRFA) is a business Association of Road Transporters whose major objective is to provide a strong unit among small and mid-scale transporters to articulate business constraints facing its members, while also contributing towards research activities, the realization of a safe, reliable, efficient, international standards, climate change and friendly road freight industry in Tanzania.
TRFA is registered from Ministry of Home Affairs under The Societies Act (CAP.337. R.E. 2002) with registration number S.A.23332 on 3rd December 2022.
Tanzania Road Freight Association (TRFA) is Managed by a team of 6 Directors and 4 staffs members charged with day-to-day office operations. The Secretariat is headed by the Executive Director.

To represent, empower, consult, and conduct conducive researches in support of road transporters across the country.
Our Vision
To have an Association that advocates reliable, safe and efficient Road Transport industry.
Our Goals
To eventually have improved operational efficiencies on the road transport sub sector that contributes to poverty reduction the country’s economic growth through minimizing costs of transport operations and harmonizing government compliance requirements.
